SCADA System Integration
At one time a Melbourne based textile plant struggled with maintaining production logs while utilsing a single multi-channel paper chart recorder. The machines automation centre also carried multiple termperature indicators and controllers to display process charteristics during production run times.

After extensive discussions with plant personell, a WonderWare In-Touch SCADA system was programmed within a 17" self contained touch screen PC and incorporated within an existing plant automation centre.

Utilising no more than a handfull of Adam-4000 series converters with modbus protocal for I/O interface, the system with its multi-page display, readily accessed with only a touch on the screen, instantaneously displays machine run time parameters and alarm status indicators on graphical interfaces indicative of machine layouts, as well as real time tending and historical logging, providing a high visibility easy to read HMI.

Screen based keyboards allow data entry when required while a multi-level security protocal has also been incorporated within the system to enable historical log files to be downloaded to a USB thumbdrive in a CSV format for Microsoft Excel interpolation.
