Gas will escape a coal seam bore hole when its pressure exceedes the water pressure above it. Extraction pumps remove the water to reduce its pressure and release the gas however the process must be controlled precisely and monitored closely.

ACS engineered and installed remote telemetry units capable of closed loop water level based extraction pump control and bi-directional data transmittion from remote field locations on the NextG network. Local operations and national management staff have access to data and real time site information from virtually any location in the country from a laptop PC.

The 3.5m pole mounted RTU's installed on each site support a 70Ah battery backed 80W solar panel to power an Emerson FloBoss 103 transmitter, NextG modem, sundry electronic equipment, intrisnically safe water level sensor and barrier to provide closed loop extraction pump control. Data and site information is continually transmitted via a lightning protected colinear antenna onto the NextG network on a dedicated VPN.
