Additions and Options Available

Deflector Bars

A stainless steel string deflector or stainless steel hose deflector bar mounted in front of the unit’s lower carriage assembly and generally welded via standoffs to the bottom kick bar of the platform.
Audible Alarm

An alarm activated from the remote display panel triggers an externally mounted siren for leg sensor obscurity and/or low air supply.

If a leg sensor obscurity alarm is activated and the JetSpray option is fitted, the system will activate the JetSpray first.
If a low air supply alarm is activated, the piston will retract and not extend until the alarm is either cleared or acknowledged from the display panel.
Automatic Sensor Jet Spray

An Automatic Sensor JetSpray for the spray arm mounted leg sensor can be activated from the remote display panel. It allows the program to detect obscurity of the leg sensor generally caused by spatter.
If the sensor is obscured for any longer than 10 seconds, a jet of water is sprayed along the face of the sensor for 10 seconds to clean it, if the sensor is still obscured when the 10 second cleaning cycle has completed an audible alarm is activated if the audible alarm option is installed.
Selections can also be made via the display panel to allow the water jet to activate during every return stroke of the spray arm, on sensor obscurity only, or manually at the press of a button.

Low Air shutdown

A Low Air Shutdown is installed within the software without any hardware additions and can be activated or de-activated with ease from the remote display panel. Once active, the software monitors the speed of the spray arm. If the arm takes more than 3 seconds to either extend or retract, an audible alarm will activate if the audible alarm option is installed, and the arm will drive to its retracted position until the air supply has been restored.

Cow Counter

A Cow Counter is installed within the software without any hardware additions; the counter will display the total number of cows sprayed during a milking and can be either manually or automatically reset.

Non platform mounted options include a pneumatic pressure operated spray pump to provide greater spray atomisation and delivery pressure than most vacuum operated pumps.
Overhead Back Spray

An overhead BackSpray allows liquid such as fly or bloat spray to be automatically sprayed along the back of each cow at the same time the udder is sprayed and independently activated and from the remote display panel.
The spray is delivered for a time based dose via a pneumatically driven pump, drawing from the fluids original supply containers and delivered to two fixed position fan type spray nozzles. Solenoid valves are fitted at each spray nozzle to ensure precise flow cut-off and minimal drip or overdose.
