INSTALLATION REQUIRMENTS
POWER
The platform assembly of the SmartSpray automatic teat spray system is powered by 24VDC from a remote power supply unit. This remote unit is located within 20 metres of the platform assembly and connected to a 240VAC GPO.
- If a GPO is not available one can be installed.
AIR
The platform assembly of the SmartSpray automatic teat spray system uses a 10 or 12mm compressed air supply line from an air compressor. The minimum air compressor capacity should be 40 litres and the compressed air should be filtered and pressure regulated.
- If an air supply line is not present one can be installed.
- If an air compressor is not available one can be supplied.
FLUID
The platform assembly of the SmartSpray automatic teat spray system uses the same fluid supply line as the existing hand spray wands.
- If a suitable fluid supply line is not available, one can be installed.
- If the existing spray pump is not suitable, a replacement can be installed.
INSTALLATION
Installation and set up takes about 4-6hrs and 1 milking once supply lines have been installed.
Final commissioning takes about 1-2 milkings directly after installation in most cases.

Overview
Attached to the upper and lower breach bars of virtually any rotary platform the SmartSpraySTD automatic teat spray system is a bolt on pre-set machine designed for the farmer that just wants to spray teats.
The system utilises fixed sensor alignment and positioning to operate, as a result the SmartSpraySTD automatic teat spray will only activate and spray in the same position of the bail when there is a cow there and she’s finished milking, achieving hand spray quality teat coverage of better than 90% of the herd, and even though a good idea, doesn't require leg spreaders.
The universal design and construction of the SmartSpraySTD automatic teat spray system also provides the flexibility and opportunity to install the system on any part of the rotary platform to serve as either a pre-milk or a post-milk unit dependant upon specific requirements without specialist mechanical skills.
The system operates from an externally mounted 24VDC power supply and a minimum of 400kPa filtered air.
Essentially, bolt it on and plug it in.
