WATER WHEN YOU WANT IT
The SmartTell WATER farm irragation system is a PC based stand alone telemetry system that utilises a combination of hardware, software and radio communication. The system is specifically designed to look at soil moisture and provide a controlling link to property irragation.
Utilising a combination of small solar powered battery backed radio telemetry modules in either a direct line of sight distance of up to 30km or a mesh network, the system constantly monitors soil moisure in virtually any location around the farm. Data is then sent via radio signal to a PC for monitoring and automatic control of irragation pumps or flood valves which can be programmed using either a timed based sequence or automatically based on soil moisture.
The PC has a basic supervisory control and data aquisition (SCADA) software installed on it that provides an arial property view and graphical displays for moisture, valve and pump status. Secondary display screens provide trends and consumption totals for record keeping.
