Hazardous area enclosures
A hazardous area is defined as an area in which an explosive atmosphere is present, or may be expected to be present, in quantities such as to require special precautions for the construction, installation and use of potential ignition sources.

Rittal TS 8 enclosures
The TS8 range is a system platform for individual tasks providing unrivalled verstility. With multiple sizes available, each free standing sheet steel enclosure is dipcoat primed, the door, roof and rear panels are then powder-coated in textured RAL 7035. The roof, rear panel and gland plates are 1.5mm steel, with 2.0mm steel doors and 3.0mm steel mounting plate
Door frame is provided with punchings on a 25 mm pitch pattern for the attachment of ducts, utility lecterns, cable harnesses, wiring plan pockets etc.
The mounting plate is zinc-plated with side C-folds while the protection category is IP 55.
